The interactive whiteboard blog also seems like it fits this idea. Schools are becoming more and more saturated with various computers, peripherals, and software. How do we know if we're getting something that will help our students learn and can it be proved - not for newer products. If we follow our responsibility with tax-payers' money, then we need to carefully review all our purchases, and that means waiting for 2nd or 3rd versions, reviews, and (most telling) published studies.Brett and Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00088855307910228572noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8318734518772387227.post-21181893554662988832010-05-11T05:24:34.016-04:002010-05-11T05:24:34.016-04:00Evelyn thanks for sharing. Your suggestions are very useful. I loved your idea of Repair and Repurpose technology. Definitely, our students can learn many things from old equipment. We recently were chosen to receive a grant, which is exciting for me and some others that are motivated by technology, but I find it isn't as easy to get the rest of the staff on board. Many are reluctant to try some of the new technology, especially the more experienced teachers!Carriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06863090374754486588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8318734518772387227.post-54399635210143592302010-05-04T17:18:45.434-04:002010-05-04T17:18:45.434-04:00I agree, this is a very good post.I agree, this is a very good post.kadding1https://www.blogger.com/profile/06694378435138828658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8318734518772387227.post-17201056296764824982010-05-04T08:04:23.085-04:002010-05-04T08:04:23.085-04:00nice post... and very useful....nice post... and very useful....LeslieShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03128070473362999976noreply@blogger.com
