I was looking at the unique and ...Interesting read. I was looking at the unique and innovative ideas above and wondered if anyone knew about the university model school approach. We have one in our area. This school meets on MWF while on T and TH they are at home with their studies-- as they would be in college. It gives them more time to develop other talents and interests on their "off days" and allows them to get used to a schedule. I understand they have T and Th classes that are enrichment such as the arts, theater, music, labs, photography, tech and other areas of interests. <br />The school I am referring to in our area is a UMS (university model school) The kids seem to be able to pursue their interests and talents while getting a quality education. This seems to fit in the unique and innovative schools? www.lucaschristianacademy.com. They are in a national contest too that they seem to be winning in.
