The Innovative Educator Goes Global with Teaching Generation Text Today!

Join my co-author, Willyn Webb and I at the 2010 Global Ed Conference to check out our presentation, featuring the subject of our upcoming book, "Teaching Generation Text: -Harnessing the Power of Cells in Education. Riding the wave of positive responses from our Live! Classroom 2.0 presentation, we will be going global with the presentation, the links, and the discussion. It is no longer IF, but WHEN educators start harnessing the power of engaging students using the tools they love. The 2010 Global Education Conference takes place this week online and it’s free. The session begins at 3:00 p.m. eastern standard time. There is no formal registration required for the conference. Simply log into the session here up to 30 minutes prior to the session start time.

The conference currently has scheduled 50 keynote addresses and over 300 general sessions from 62 countries. Sessions will be held in multiple time zones focusing on teachers, students, curriculum, policy and leadership and global issues. The conference is a collaborative and world-wide community effort to significantly increase opportunities for globally-connecting education activities and initiatives.
