I try to get my students to share the responsibility of learning from each other, but hold students accountable by having all group members sign off on all parts of a group product. That way I can assess individually and the group processes. Sometimes the students can choose their partners, sometimes it is random, and sometimes I form true homogeneous groups. I agree you can't do group work all the time, but there has to be interaction between peers each and every class.StephConklinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11740179840399557903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8318734518772387227.post-31986638265506255502012-11-03T05:30:39.864-04:002012-11-03T05:30:39.864-04:00I'd be interested in your critique Gary. But suddenly, I realize that it would be better to work in a group so that things will be done easily and it create bond between the members. Just like the students groups I work with last month, we had an activities in the school and I'm so happy that I have been the part of this group. They are good people to work with.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13434064451102821833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8318734518772387227.post-63668396241538537512012-11-01T17:44:12.011-04:002012-11-01T17:44:12.011-04:00Diana,

I think there are affordances and constraints of your approach.

I am serious, but not sure that this is the proper venue to have such a serious discussion.Garyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16005284607047954745noreply@blogger.com
