Every male person in my life that I had a deep connection to was simply gone. Until today I could not talk about how much it threw me off inside. To whom would I ?
And also, as a grown men you are expected to handle this yourself, somehow.
I guess ....Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15682272464433651174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8318734518772387227.post-18550475899506309762013-04-02T15:32:51.924-04:002013-04-02T15:32:51.924-04:00In my grad school class, we were just discussing t...In my grad school class, we were just discussing the impact of social media on education and the school community. My initial opinion was that it was just a distraction. After reading your post, you have shown me otherwise. I often see people use social media as an outlet to inform their friends and family of a loss. I have done so myself. I have never looked at it from the perspective of a school community. Social Media can be a great way for schools to inform the community about anything that is occurring in the school. I am sure that parents of students and even students themselves will friend their schools facebook page. If for some unfortunate reason, a student or staff member passes away the social media page can be used to inform the school community and send condolences to the family. This can encourage widespread support and condolences from the entire school community to that family in their time of grief. I am sorry for your loss, but would like to thank you for the insight in your post. God bless you and your family.Andrea Jonesnoreply@blogger.com
