We're worried about AI taking over students' thinking. But how often are schools already doing the thinking for them?Schools decide what students learn, how they learn it, which tools they can use, and how they demonstrate what they know. Then we wonder why students aren't motivated or invested in their learning.
Rather than banning technology, why aren't we helping students develop AI literacy, discover how they learn best, and make intentional choices about when technology helps and when it doesn't?
The goal isn't AI controlling the thinking or schools controlling the thinking.
It's students controlling their own thinking and owning their learning.
That's the question I'm exploring in my latest article. Check it out and share your thoughts on LinkedIn.
